After trying many things I have finally managed to fix my updater.  Thanks for all the support and I hope to see everyone in game very soon.

I recently downloaded planeshift via bit torrent. I ran the updater and I got a message telling me there were no available mirrors.  The next time I ran the updater it said no updates needed.  Since the updater said there are no updates I went to get the file OpenAL32.dll and put it into the plneshift folder, but I still get the message "The procedure entry point alcGetString could not be located in the dynamic link library OpenAL32.dll" which other people were told to run the updater to fix.  What do I do to fix this problem. I also tried reinstalling the game but the problem persists.     

Operating System:  Windows vista sp1
Processor:  Intel 1.73 GHz
System Memory:  3 GB

I don't know if this matters but I also downloaded the updater info from the other post to fix the "true" "false" problem.
