Wish list / Homosexual Marriages
« on: February 02, 2010, 04:25:36 am »
I couldn't help but notice that you can marry someone of the opposite sex in-game, but are unable  to marry someone of the same sex. Why is this. Nothing too big, but it may add more options to role-play.

Wish list / Re: More options for klyros
« on: February 02, 2010, 03:50:43 am »
My new char is a klyros and I agree that there should be more customization and distinction. I agree with the fact that the males should have larger and more colourful crests. The females should perhaps have softer facial bone structure to make them seem more feminine.

Ylians are able to customize their hair, so maybe the Klyros could Customize their crest shape and colour. Same thing with the wings.

:offtopic: It would make for some interesting role-play if one could be completely naked. *hinthint*

This sounds like a cool idea. But I guess it could go either way.

I'd contribute if my voice more matured. :(

I may be over looking the obvious, but what does OSP stand for? Octarchal Super People?

Wish list / Re: Community Playhouse and/or amplitheather

I like this idea. In my opinion, A role-play playhouse would be kinda boring. I understand that this is a role-play game, but we don't have imaginary taverns and imaginary towns.

Back on topic: when there is no events at the playhouse, there should be no entry fee and we could have "open mic". That would be a great way to meet new people.

Complaint Department / Re: [OOC: Roleplay or Scam?]
« on: January 04, 2009, 02:16:32 am »
[I was there at the "role-play".

Someone at the rouge camp claimed to by Xiosia in the form of an old lady (I do have to admit though, she was a good RPer.) . She said that the darkness and greed in the world were killing her. In to save here she said that we will need to give up our greed, and thus dropping all of our items and tria. After this she thanks us and tells us that she will make us demi-gods. She led us to a clearing and gave us a knife. She said that death leeds to rebirth in the cycle of life (which made seance that Xiosia would say that) and then asked us to kill our selves. We waited at the entrance of the DR awhile waiting for her, but she never came.

She was a great role-player and she obviously did her research. But non the less I would still call it a scam. It also was not in character. If she was just a normal person pretending to be a goddess, she (roleplay) enchanted a dagger (which a normal person could not do), and did other (roleplay) spell that only a god could do. So thus, it was a scam.]

General Discussion / Re: More Oja Role-play
« on: January 02, 2009, 07:12:04 pm »
On the topic of grinding: I think that it's okay to train as long as it's realistic. But don't train 24-7 unless your character has OCD  ;).

No let's get back to the original topic. Let's try to think of ideas for events. If people get use to going here for events, they will be there more often. And maybe some suggestions to the devs no make to trip to Oja more worth it, and stop it from just being grind central. :D

Give the noobies their Oja. They'll come to Hydlaa when they're ready.

Oh no. Is exactly what I want Oja NOT to become. I agree that Oja is a great place for noobies to level up and such, but I don't want people to think it a place just for noobs. Also role-play can be intimidating at first. When I first went to Hydlaa, RP nazi were all over me. But I think I learned more about RPing from them then any one. Some of them should be a little less harsh, but it's good to have someone to help you recognize your mistakes.

Fighting is probably one of the most IC things that someone can do, but I think it's just a little weird when thats the only thing that everyone in town is doing. Fighting things like Rouges makes good sense for the characters own protection. Dueling is great too, but there should be more reason behind it then "hey, wanna fight?".

Well I guess it's kinda the same case that I'm an Enki and I hate the long trip to Hydlaa. I would go to Hydlaa more often but it lags like hell on my computer.

General Discussion / More Oja Role-play
« on: December 30, 2008, 07:13:05 pm »
I like to spend a lot of my time in Ojaveda, but it is really uneventful when it comes to role-play. To many people, Oja is just a place to fight, go on quests, and buy stuff. But Oja should, in theory, be a dangerous exiting place. There are rouges roaming all about and you can have your weapons out (which you can't do in Hydlaa).

So I want to think of plans to increase Oja role-play, but I need the help of people who have been playing longer then I. Any ideas?

Okay these are my stats:

CPU Type: PowerPC G4  (2.8)
      Machine Name: Power Mac G4
      Machine Model: PowerMac3,3
      Memory: 640 MB
      Chipset Model: ATY,Rage128Pro
      VRAM (Total): 16 MB
          Resolution: 1024 x 768 @ 60 Hz

Also when I did the texture compression, the game loads up to the point with the picture of the man and the hut then quits.

EDIT: Okay so now the game loads but the death realm is still the same.

I Hate The Death Realm!!! But now I hate it even more. I'm on a new computer and have just re-downloaded plainshift. But when I get to the DR The graphics get all weird. Like this:

I'm running Mac PPC 10.4.11

Thanks.
