Are you familiar with the Terminal? You could try executing that (sudo) from the CLI if you're comfortable with it.
It works for me; I just had to fix that line in the XML file and download the newest updater.

Yes you can run a server on 2 GB, but that's an infinitesimal amount when it comes to MMOs. Hard to say what all in the game suffers from lack of system memory on the host.

I just want to see how it works...I've played several MMOs and this one looks cool. Best of all its features is that it's free, I must say.
