This should help...

And yes, it appears to be communicating with the servers, the Fragnetics server count increases in number, which says to me that it is successfully pinging servers.
Also, I'm not sure if this is typical for this situation, but I get this error message no matter what I choose for my password.  My assumption is that it doesn't check for UN/Pass until after it  verifies the correct version is running.
As a new Mac user I can only make guesses, but is there simply a history file I can edit to make it think it is running the current version? Or is there a better fix?

Thanks, Caarrie

Hi all,
I decided I would try playing PlaneShift, so I downloaded the client from one of the mirrors for Mac OSX 10.5, and I quickly ran into problems after installing.
As did everyone, I had updater issues so I went to the site and found that I needed to edit a file, get a new updater, etc. etc.
I read Caarrie's Mac portion of the thread she wrote very thoroughly but to no avail.
Here's what happens:
With everything downloaded and installed correctly (and after making that file line "true"), I double-click on the updater, which as asked I placed in my PS dir.  It bounces for a couple minutes as expected and then sits still.  At first, after it was done bouncing, I assumed it had patched, but after starting up the game I found that this may not have been true.  So, I let it patch again and then let it sit there, still, for about 10 minutes.
Then I tried again.
Still says I need to patch, and that is where i am at.
I tried throwing the line Caarrie typed into the terminal to see if that would do something, but even though everything is in the correct directory, the line came up with an error in the terminal.

Help would be awesome, thanks!
