This is really bugging me too, i cannot get to bdroad2 as there is no portal. Is it possible one can be put into place?

Ugh, this is really frustrating, i created another character and he wont give me the quest, i get the coal one, the ring one but never the rat eye one.

Anyone out there willing to sell me one of these glyphs, its been a week now of trying to get my hands on one and im starting to give up hope...

This is happening to me again. I got one of those 'reached an out of bounds zone' and decided to reload my game to get rid of it (i end up doing this very often) and now whenever i open the client, i move the mouse and it crashes. It doesn't matter if i do it at the loading screen, or i log in (by pressing enter) and run around for a bit or whatever, it still crashes.

please help, iv'e changed NOTHING in terms of files, i have no idea what to do besides reinstall.

A few days back my Life Infusion glyph disappeared from my inventory, i talked to a gm and he asked me if it was hidden in any sacks but its definitely gone. The spell is still in my spellbook but i cannot cast it because i "do not have the purified glyph(s) required to cast the spell.

He told me i could repeat the quest but when i ask the npc he says "Nothing for you at the moment" i asked the gm and he said its possible that you must wait for the quest to become available again but it has been a few days now and i want to know if there is anyway of getting the glyph back, i'm considering making another character just for the glyph.

In setup set the texture downsampling to 1/16, use the lowest resolution, turn off sound (might help), turn off multisampling, run the default skin.
In game go to video options turn off shadows, set the visual distance to 80-100.

I know how to fix it! had the same problem. filter thing. fixed it by (sounds weird i know) turning on my speakers. Make sure you have sound enabled in setup too!

If that doesn't work, try fiddling around with the settings, even the ones that seems unnecessary. Either that or remove things plugged in like headsets, usb cables etc.

Hi  :D

I played planeshift in its earlier stages (around 1.5-2 years ago) and loved it. Just recently i have decided to check out how the game is going and i'm particularly interested in the magic system. So i was wondering how many spells are there in the game at the moment? i'm guessing around 6 (one for each way) + about 3 cross-way spells, also is there anything else i should know about magic? Don't let me squeeze spoilers out of you but it would be nice to have some light shed on my pondering mind.

Mac OSX Specific Issues / Application wont start

I have read ALL the stickies, i have searched, BELIEVE ME I HAVE TRYED to fix this problem but i cannot get planeshift to start.

When i start is up the console says:

([0x0-0x286286].psclient[8267]) posix_spawnp("/Applications/PlaneShift/psclient.app/Contents/MacOS/psclient_static", ...): Permission denied

Im running an old Mac Book Pro with 10.5

Please help
