Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Can't get past "Loading World"

OS: Windows 98 S.E.
Processor: Athlon XP 1800
RAM: 256
Video Card: Geforce 2
PS Client Version: V0.2.010 Molecular, Blue
OpenGL or Safe Mode: Both
Description of the bug: Whenever I try to connect the loading screen appears, but the whole computer freezes when it arrives to the world loading (\"Loading World\"). Safe mode brings no difference, since it freezes just like OpenGL. What can be wrong?...
