Right. How is it that I can play quake-based games (OpenArena, Nexuiz, War§ow), Sauerbraten and other relatively 3d-intensive games with pretty decent framerate (at about 50fps)? So far, it's only this and Wine-based apps where I've ran into problems, but it may be me just being lucky...

Hello.
I can confirm this happening using:

Arch Linux x86_64
planeshift 0.4.03-2
xf86-video-ati 6.10.0-1
Mobility Radeon X1400

Exactly the same behaviour as on screenshots above, sometimes I can see the model's hair.
