Newbie Help (Start Here) / wepon/armor repair

Hello all!
I seem to be suck with a problem. I have gotten a training point in each repair armor and wepons, have purchased the repair kits and have inspected every piece of blackmith equipment, from table to anvil ect, trying to find out how to repair things. I have asked NPC's to "tell me about wepon/armor repair" and I get nothing....Can anyone please give me a hand with this? I really don't enjoying having to buy new gear when my old gear/swords get too low.

I recieved this quest to cut 3 pungent tubers and tryed everything I could thing of to do so. I placed one on the the prep table had a kitchen knife equiped and tryed the / use command, tryed /cutting tryed hitting the combine button but nothing was working. Can someone pls help me with this.

While in the death realm I fell to my death and spawned in a black pit unable to move or communicate in chat channels. Unstick just puts me back into the same spot, can anyone advise me on my next course of action pls? My toon is just a tiny newbie all alone and cold........
