Mac OSX Specific Issues / Update Client Not Responding

System specs.
Model Name: Macbook
Model Identifier: Macbook2,1
Processer Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Procesor speed: 2.16GHz
Memory chipset model GMA950
VRAM: 64MB shared memory system
well thats what i pulled from the system information.
My problem is that i cannot run the psupdater. It opens, but it indefinitely always goes into "not responding". I don't know if this other problem is related but i cannot enter yliakum coz of.... "the application psclient_static quit unexpectedly" i was wondering if anyone could suggest some ways that i can fix these problems. I just downloaded the game v0.4.03.1.
