Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / HELP!!!!!!!!!

Hello,
I am brand new at playing this wonderful online game. However, everytime i try to log in from the log in screen, it tells me the server is down. Someone please help me, i am soooooo ready to play lol. Thanks in advance for the help guys and gals. Dale
