I came back after quite a long time; i believe my first character ever was a Enki, trying out the first few quests—leaving when Harnquist stole Thorian's shield and never returned it to me

I came back again a year or 2 later, a bit surprised to find my character gone, amazed by all the "new" features—the new skills, places OUTSIDE of Hydlaa. I set forth to train a Klyros so that I may experience all the great new things PS had to offer, but left the game after some OOG misfortune.

Periodically (like, that means once or twice a year, lol) I would come back to check the main site about the updates and whats new, awaiting one thing or another, always putting off "coming back" for maybe a little bit more.

A period of complete amnesia came, filled with all sorts of RL issues and substance-less games.  Then, on one of my definitely-not-few searches for an MMORPG that both me and my gf would enjoy....I remembered.

So without even looking at what was new (because, frankly, I thought it would simply be too much to go over, and thus gave in to the concept of being a noob again), I made her make her account and tried to remember mine (thank goodness for password recovery!)

Fast forward 2 days later, I was amazed! I loved what PS had become, what it had developed into, and what so many have worked to create. And the community still far FAR better than so many MMORPGs out there. I loved every minute in the [to me] new PS. (And I was thrilled to see my gf loved PS too )

Then here comes a person in game, while I am verbally making love to PS, and he tells me "You came at an exciting time"! Little did I know of the eminent 0.5 coming in the next few days that would soon make it even better.

I usually never post, unless I've reached my absolute raw end in resources. When I have no-one to turn to, no place to research, nothing to read to find an answer to a question that would seem simple for some but lack-of-resources/train-of-logic births—that is almost always my post #1. But today it is different; today its a very sincere and loving "Thank you" to all the people who developed and nurtured this creation into what it is now, and what it will be. Two oft-said words (shortened, even [ty]!) can scarcely begin to portray the feelings of appreciation and enjoyment that I'm sure many, many players have, are, and will share with me.  Though I've watched (rather impatiently!) for a long time, I haven't had the good graces (until my eyes hit "thx to the devs !" while browsing!) to really express to Team PlaneShift just how fascinating, enchanting, and overall wonderful this game—and its idea—really is.

So THANK YOU ALL for your rigorous work on the exceptional gift that is PlaneShift!
