I'm running Ubuntu 10.04. I ran the Linux binary, and seemingly got everything installed, but when I tried to play, the sound was majorly glitchy. I read that the first thing to do to attempt to fix anything was to update, but this is the message I get:

Couldn't open xml file '/this/updaterinfo.xml'!
Unable to get root node

Updater finished, press enter to exit.
Trying to 'Repair' gives a similar error. What's going on? I have a file called updateservers.xml.download, but nothing that looks like updaterinfo.xml.
