Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Problem in Client for Windows

Hi guys,
I\'m having problems when I try use client for Windows. My station:
- Pentium III 833MHz, 128MB de RAM
- TNT2 nVidea 16MB
- Windows 98
- OpenGL Rendering
When I start the client, I can create a character, but when I try load world, software connects and try load world definion until fill all machine\'s resources...
My machine is too slow to run client?
Please, help me!!! lol
