Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / error

I can use the create character thing but when I try to upload or login it says there was a database error.  It also says to contact an admin but that is all.  I\'m running windows ME.  I wanted to try the thing about changing the compatability in psclient.exe but my computer says it dosen\'t exist. Is there anyone who can help?
