I\'m sure your 56K will work.
Mine however, is a 19.2K. So I doubt I will be able to play.

Of coarse players should be able to make thier
own castle, but all ratdudett said was that WTBs
should get free ones. I think WTBs and those ppl
helping make the game should only get some better
swords and things like that. A castle seems a bit to
much though.

Well... I guess I can\'t say it\'s the modem.
It\'s the phone line that\'s the problem, that\'s more like it.
It limits the connection to a 26.4K at most. I\'ve searched
for DSL, Cable, T1, T3. My phone line is horrible. The ppl
that put the lines up will not upgrade them, because
there\'s hardly anyone that will use them.
I\'ll put a photo up showing where I live, it\'s a wonderful
place. My house is on the top of a hill, and is 3 stories
high.
My sig is the Windows XP background. Then I added
some stuff using 3D Studio MAX.

Wow! Everquest is making over $11,000,000/ month.
I would love to be able to play Everquest, but I
hate the thought of spending money on things
like that. Plus I live in a rural area, which means
I don\'t get city bonuses like a 56K modem(mine\'s
a 21.6K, and the phone line doesn\'t even support
DSL, cable and the like ;( ).
That problem brings up another question.
Can I even play Planeshift ?( or any multi-player game?
I just bought an excellent computer:
1.6 P4, 512 MB Ram and all kinds of top of the line
things(a nice deal too, $800 for it and the monitor).
But the modem is the problem.
Does PR stand for programmer?

around and chat thing, just to show the engine.
It was how finished the demo is that I was
wondering. The news on the main site said that they
have had a chat session in it, so it must be nearly
finished.
I\'m sure it will be worth waiting for the game to
finaly come out, I don\'t want to pay a monthly fee
like most other online RPGs. This will be the first
1st person online game for me to play, and I\'m very
excited.

Actually, this goes to anyone that knows how the demo
is coming along.
At first the demo was going to come out in Dec, 2001.
At least that is what I\'ve read. And now it\'s in the end of March.
This is my question: Is the demo really coming out in
march? I\'m just wondering because I am tired of
waiting. I hope that I don\'t sound bad or something by
asking this, but I would like to know how finished the
demo is at the moment. I don\'t mind if it will be released
in the end of May or even later, It\'s just disapointing
when the month is over and it turns out that it\'s still
months before it\'s coming out.
I may not be able to read what\'s on the forums for a
while, so If anyone reads this and responds, Thanks.
