Good morning.

I thought I would try my luck within this Forum since I run a Mac and honestly, I'm not getting anywhere in the general tech problem Forums (really, they have tried to be very helpful).

Here is the issue: I have 4 characters created in my Log In screen. Only one of them is my Main. I want to delete the other three so that I may have a choice, should I want to, to create other alts. The extra ones I have now were all trials and errors when I first started playing PlaneShift.

Nothing I do will let me delete the extra characters. I click on them, I get the deletion window warning me, I click yes, and nothing. Back to where I started with all the characters intact. Some of the Forums say to run the updater (by this I assume they mean PSLaunch since I have no program called Updater) and update the client. I have done this twice, once from within PSLaunch(this was a headache) and once manually by downloading a whole new client from the website. I still can not delete the characters.

I have other issues from within the Game itself, but I will post these separate. One thing at at a time     If I can accomplish the the deletion of my excess characters, I shall be happy. 

PS - Aside from this I like this game very much. Thank you for making it possible for us Mac users.

The last option that you can do with nobody's help is to get a new account. You will need another email address but they are pretty easy to come by. A side benefit of this is  four more character slots and one or more of them can go through the tutorial and get the startup benefit.   

This sounds a little extreme -    I can't believe there is no work-around to this issue within the same account. Is there no one in particular within the Technical Forum that one can contact to ask to do this?

I've tried using the Bug Tracker but I don't think I understand it. If you can explain how to use it I ill.

In the meantime, am I to understand there is no fix for this issue? Am I stuck with 4 character I don't want, consequently not being able to create another alt that I might want to play?

As a new comer to Ylikum and the great city Hydlaa I want to express my gratitude to the many who have welcomed me. I have lived in several Cyber Cities within our Universe - as of lately, Azaroth. I am happy to say that this World is rather surprisingly, very pleasing. I enjoy the sense of community and a sense of storytelling. After many years of focusing on the ultimate quest and ultimate gear...and ultimate Boss to kill, this is a delightful change - a breath of fresh air.
