Hi!

Thank you for all your help. I read some articles and I think i have got the situation.

* I want PS to run on the dedicated GPU(AMD) not the integrated(Intel).
* The AMD CCC doesn't switch OpenGL apps to the dGPU when configured to do it.
* AMD doesn't use seperate drivers which can be updated independently.
* My Bios just allows to force "usage of the iGPU" or "switchable", but not dGPU :-(
* Because of the driver structure, disabling the Intel device makes the dGPU running without the AMD driver.
* Configure PS to use the Software renderer doesn't work at all.(The app doesn't start anymore)

This is a list of relevant facts I have collected from the articles.
Hm, at the moment I don't see a solution.

Would be create to have an option to define what card to use in the PS settings. :-)

well,

1. I tried "lucidlogics virtu". Thank you for the tipp, unfortunately my hardware isn't supported. So the program exits with an error message.
2. Today I reinstalled the AMD driver and now I have a control panel where I can set what card to use. Even this doesn't help. I can select one of two options "energy efficient" and "high quality" The tool is called "AMD dynamic switchable graphics". But in both cases the window is just black.

I think that's it for my hardware, I can't play planeshift anymore. Propably in a later version.

Hi!

Unfortunately the linked thread doesn't offer a solution for my problem.

I bought a PeckardBell Easynote LS11HR. The system control panel shows two graphic cards:

* AMD Radeon HD 6650M
* Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

I guess ps is using the AMD device by default. If I disable this device pslauncher shows the loaded textures in the menu.

The device driver doen't offer any options to set a graphic card for a certain application.

I have the same problem. I have two graphic chips in my laptop and the wrong is used. How did you day pslauncher what card to use?
