Linux Specific Issues / Re: Running/Playing PS AFTER Installation
« on: February 24, 2012, 01:25:16 am »
pslaunch won't run, not even in terminal:
NAME@NAME:~/Games/PlaneShift$ ./pslaunch
./pslaunch: line 5: /home/NAME/Games/PlaneShift/pslaunch.bin: Permission denied
./pslaunch: line 5: exec: /home/NAME/Games/PlaneShift/pslaunch.bin: cannot execute: Permission denied
I made sure that it was running as an executable, but it still doesn't run, the properties for it says its a shell script.

, but now I can't find anything to click or run to actually run the game
. The installation wouldn't allow me to install into /opt so I put the game files in /home/NAME/Planeshift. There is no shortcut in my menu, and i don't know what to do with the .bin files for the game, any help would be appreciated.
