Here is the thing.
I started the game (windows version) without any pb and played for only a minute until the games crashed... well nothing special so far.
But I couldn't enter the game anymore. I can log in, I can select my char but the loading bar stops at "loading GUI". The "PS has crashed" window opens in the background.
I reinstalled the game; no changes. Drivers are ok.
Funny thing is that if I create another character, no problems at all... Try to reconnect with my main character? Crash...
So I'm somewhere on Oja road 2 I think. I have no idea if moving my character somewhere else would fix the pb or if it's even possible by devs/GM. I can delete and recreate the same character (as he's got no high skills yet) but I want to be sure it will not happen again if I move to the same place.
Anyway, what do you think I should do?

Quick update.
My old notebook can't run PS. My video card is too old and the game crash as soon as I log in.
Good news is the fan won't take more than 2-3 days to be fixed so I should be able to play again very soon.

EDIT: PC fixed  \\o// See you soon all !!

Hi Reese and welcome :)
Finding a guild is one thing but remember others may have their own "business" to take care of. Nothing against you personally.
I'm not playing for a long time (see my post count :D), but my advise would be to not hesitate to talk in other chat channels. I remember asking a looooooot of informations about the game mechanics, etc... in the gossip channel for instance. Sometimes too much  :-[ but everyone has been comprehensive and helpful.
I know you mentioned looking for RP but based on my experience, it's good to take your time expending your knowledge about the lore and this quite big world. People are always happy to help and if you felt they haven't, I'm sure it's simply because they couldn't (no time/don't know/afk). Just be patient, this game is not like any other MMO. I played a lot of MMOs but PS has the best community, I mean it. It's a small one but it's a good thing. Few people = help each others.
If you see me ingame, don't hesitate to pm me (I'm still a newbie though). And if you already have experience in RP then I would suggest you to start the conversations  ;) It's always rewarding here (RP-wise).
Ok, sorry for the long talk. The most important: enjoy the game like everyone do  \\o//

And yes my character is also named Akei.
Well I'll need 1-2 weeks to fix my notebook but I managed to install PS on my very old notebook (8 years old PC) yesterday. The installation/upgrade went well and I'll give it a try tonight if I have some time. Not sure it can handle it though *crossing fingers*
Likewise, Ligh  ;) Always nice to meet you ingame.

A quick message to apologize to a member of the DOX guild. I think her name was Dashia (or something close). I started to RP with her in the tavern yesterday when my notebook CPU fan just died... Windows turned off and I wasn't able to restart my PC.
I had to wait until today to be able to post here from my working place.
So sorry for interrupting the RP conversation in such manner, it was not intentional and I thought the least I could do would be to post here. I hope she's reading this forum otherwise maybe someone from DOX will take notice. Thank you.
I don't even know when I'll be able to play PS again...  :@#\

I didn't have time to write something about our last RP (it's not that easy for me also) but I noticed that the corpse we placed in front of the Temple disappeared. Any fresh news to what happened since?
TY all for the nice ingame RP and also to Cairn, I'm enjoying it (don't you dare to stop it as some have suggested !!!)

First of all, welcome to PS ;)
The Warriors guild is not that active nowadays but is always happy to help. I would recommend you to make yourself familiar with the game and the guilds objectives/RP.
As Caraick said, feel free to contact anyone for advices and tips. That way you may meet a member of a guild which fits your RP.

I took part of the story yesterday but unfortunately I had to leave before I could investigate more. I wish I could play when the server population is at its highest. Anyway, interesting beginning and I've added my name to the list  ;)
And thank you to .... (hmmm I forgot his name ) the Dwarf who can't speak a word. First I can't imagine the difficulty to play such character and second, to have been so patient with me despite my very poor RP. Kudos !!

Hello everyone !!

I think I created my first (and only) character several months ago. I don't play much but I thought it would be nice to register on the forum, now that I know  bit more about the game. Nonetheless I'm still "lost" here.
First of all, big gratz to the devs and other people involved in this. Very good job so far. I think the graphisms are ok for now and most efforts should be focused on the skills (my 2 cents).
HOWEVER, I was surprised and glad to see the herbalism job has been implemented in the last patch!! Call me lucky, it's the only skill I have points in (all others are at 0  :D ) and I was kinda disappointed at first when I started to play.
Good news for me as I said but I can't find any tips to understand how to use this skill. I found the NPC to lvl herbalism though, with some kind of table and pot besides her... I don't get how to use it. Is a quest required?
So anybody can help me on this? I've read that the forum is not supposed to be a spoiler place so if what I'm asking can't be answered here, just let me know, I would totally understand. In this case, where am I supposed to learn?
Well thanks in advance and please be indulgent with my RP if you meet me ingame... not so familiar with it yet...
