If you switch between harvesting and picking things up, it does go faster than mining, and keeps it from getting too monotonous. And, I could see harvesting some plants as taking time, for example, roots. But for things like picking berries or flower heads, it may take a bit longer than necessary at the moment when compared to other tasks. Just my two cents  :)

I'm having this same problem, but closing it and trying again doesn't seem to be helping any. Any other suggestions?

Edit: It worked after I restarted my computer.

The resolutions don't match up till 1024x768, and even then the game screen is still floating above where it should. It's lower though so it could just be a resolution problem. I'll try different combinations...

Edit: The game screen finally lowered enough for me to see the top of it with the game resolution at 1280x960 with my computer back at 1600x900. Thank you!

So after two and a half weeks of just not running, the client magically decided to load. :) But, the window is moved up about an inch and a half so I can't see the top of the game screen. I can't grab onto the edges to drag it down or anything, and just don't know what else to try. I have windows 8 and I'm running the updated version of the game.

Any help would be appreciated as not being able to see the top bit of the screen will probably get annoying after awhile... :-\

I'm not sure about now, but a while ago when I was reading some in-game books I came across a series about the history of magic that answers the question about magic being possible without glyphs.

So I myself am still pretty new around here and never could figure out the point of all those stalls in East Hydlaa that no one ever used. I mean, I pass by there all the time and would love it if I had reason to stop and hang out with other characters.

Then, just the other day someone had set up at one of the stalls and was selling various items. I stopped and had a wonderful time chatting as well as buying some books.

So, here's my vote for something to be set up there, however much it's worth. It would be nice to see all those empty stalls with some activity.
