Hi....

First off I couldn't find the right forum to put this in, so I picked off topic. Feel free to move it if appropriate.

I'm new so I'll introduce myself in this paragraph. If you don't care skip over :) . I tried this game at least 5 years ago or more..... All they had at the time was chat, a bit of the main city, and as I recall one 'quest' where you could run around collecting crystals... there was not combat, or magic or anything. A few days ago I decided to try out the game again and see what has happened to it. Man, has it changed. I got my wife into it, too.

I do 3D art as a bit of a hobby, and I was thinking maybe in my spare time I'd like to try to contribute some models to Planeshift. The thing is I don't want to make a big application and have some expectation of a long term commitment to the team. I just want to model, and contribute. If they like it and use it then that is great, and if they don't use it then I really don't care and wouldn't be upset. So, is there a way I can find out what models the developers might need, what file format is needed, some idea of expected polygon count, and what generally is acceptable for texture resolutions?

Of course I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't need much right now, either...
