dont want to bother him, but i might give it a try.

it seems to me its either the isp, or that ip is somehow on the blocklist.

dont see how it could be the dns cache.

thanks everybody for your help, i think ill just stick it out with the location that does work. i just thought that since i can ping, i ought to be able to connect.

firewall has been off, must be something else. (and irc people sleep too much)

I do know the server is online.
I'll try irc, just thought id ask here first before i went to the trouble of getting it.

I can login just fine from a different location so I know its this particular router.
Laanx Server pings just fine, but when I click "Login", I get the "server is not responding.." message.
I have tried fixing ports in the router but not sure what needs to be done.
