Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / HELP!!!

I am running windows 98, and I have a pentium 3 processor..But when i start up the game the screen is white except for the buttons!!! Could anyone please tell me how to fix this?

Brass knuckles

basically a piece of brass molded to fit Enkidukai hands (or paws) do normal damage but can be worn while carrying a sword/sheild etc...

Spiked brass knuckles

brass knuckles with spikes that to higher damage and can also be worn while carrying swords/sheilds etc...

Dagger of blight

a small slightly curved dagger with a gemstone blade that melts whatever it strikes--very rare and requires an Enkidukai craftsman to make



well thats all i can think of it\'d be cool to see them in the game

i believe i would have either spiked brass knuckles
                                 
                                      or...

a short one-handed battle axe with a jewel-studded handle and golden blade (which i would use to finish enemies off)
