Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / It says i'm logged in

hello after i create my character (i\'ve tried tons none worked) and finally got one to work it was at initializing world when another of my programs popped up ( i didn\'t know it was on) and this froze my computer.  now when i try to go back on it tells me that i\'m already logged on.  i\'ve tried almost everything to get it to work but nothings working.  is there any way to get on?

haha well i\'ve got the game but it still is screwing up when i try to log on (ie it won\'t).  ya comp should come very soon especially if my plan works (insert evil laugh here).  haha neways next time u come on msn i wanna talk to u about something for me that will enable me to play planeshift ( i love this game). go dwarves/krans!

OK the first time i tried to log on it gave me the linkdead error.  i fixed that by changing the ip and then i got the database error.  so i tried creating a new character and it says that i\'m already logged on and it shuts itself down.  what can i do?

my chars name is \"Zyope\"

the problem i\'ve been having is that i started with the link dead error, then the database error, and now it\'s saying i\'ve already logged on when i try to  make a new char.  how can i log off or whatever?
