Well, if they don\'t include character levels, then they probably need a system somehow similar to morrowind.

-use a skill X times to increase that skill.  X will get higher when your skill increases.

-buy skills for X cash. X will get higher when your skill increases.

How fast X will rise, is an other point.
Usually, you will have a \"soft\" upper limit - you can allways raise your skill farther, but it takes AGES if you are allready extremely good in it.

I don\'t like that soft limit beeing to low.

As someone said:  
Newbie firemage: yipee, i managed to ignite a torch!
Ancient powergamer firemage: so, what continent shall i turn to lava this afternoon?

With a limited PK system, it would be cool to be able to have a few ultra-power chars in game, chars who can fight 5 dragons with a toothpick,  get kicked by their network while the fight, log-in again half an hour later to find their
char still alive...

PvP,PK and Thieving /

Well, i currently play an other MMOPRG that has free accounts, and both PvP and non-PvP servers.
On PvP-Servers you can be killed everywhere but in certain areas like temples, and in the intro-tutorial.

Basic problem: any MMORPG, and especially a free MMORPG, will attract people (usually young people) who only find fun in the game if they can ruin someone elses day, or think the game is just quake with more items.

On PvP servers, these guys will happily kill you for any reason including \"beeing there\".  If they are finally too wellknown or get banned, they just start another free account, power-level  for one or two days, and continue.

On Non-PVP servers, these guys will annoy players. Block ways, block respawns, camping, luring monsters, steal, insult, etc.  Unfortunately, in my other MMORPG the only way to handle such things is PvP.

So, you basically have the choice between a world of psychopatical mass-murderers  and a world  of idiots and thieves.

I wish you much luck in finding a good solution for this dilemma :)

Sorry if i didn\'t express myself clearly - with \"roadmap\" i didn\'t mean a map of the game levels, but a \"roadmap\" as it is for example used for processors, e.g. a release plan with milestones (time marks for features).  Virtual example:

12/03 Crystal Blue
           Fighting (PvP)
           Item transfer
06/04  Magic
09/04  Monsters: Rats and slimes
12/04  Other skills finally working
04/05  detailed Explorable outside area
etc...


I hope with such a professional developer team (and they look pretty professional both from the \"job\" offers and from their results), they HAVE a release plan ;)

Please make ShiftLock make your char run permanently
(or if this feature is allready there, someone tell me the key please :D )

Also, i hope Endurance does/will make your char faster ...

Hi all,

well, i downloaded the client, installed it, tested it, and it does great what it does. Now i\'d like to know when more features will be added - i\'m not asking when the game will be complete, i\'m asking when we will have monsters, PvP, items, ANYTHING :-/

The graphics are nice, the handling is ok,  but you can\'t really call \"collect 1000 crystals to earn a mug\" gameplay (i found 1 crystal in the hour it took me to explore the whole dungeon, BTW).

Is there some roadmap - what features will be implemented, and when ?
