Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / loading screen causing crashing

each time the game gets to the loading screen it simply ceases function. so far ive encountered problems like the link-dead and no setup file bugs. ive tried so hard to get the game working. i really wanna play it it looks damn cool, please help me....

now that ive downloaded the compiled file (the whole thing in one go) im having problems finding the exe. file. it downloaded as a win zip file. is this correct? should it have ben compressed? please help!
