As I understand it, the crystal spawn points are static; are they on a set schedule as well?  The reason I ask is because I have yet to see a single one, and was wondering if the crystals are scooped up by players who have already mapped the spawn locations and times... I\'m just wondering if there\'s any point in continuing to look for them.
