I\'m using the latest mandrake distro with DRI enabled and my x config file is using the ATI driver which is the only way I could get  x to work.  (getting x to work was a pain by the way).

I know planeshift should work with this machine as i\'ve used it before when i had window$ installed.

I keep getting errors similar to this when i try to run psclient, pssetup, etc.

[myname@localhost planeshift]$ ./psclient-bin -verbose
no CEL environment variable set!
Warning: Failed to load `gl3d\'; reason(s):
DLERROR (gl3d): libopengl32.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Warning: Failed to load `gl3d\'; reason(s):
DLERROR (gl3d): libopengl32.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
WARNING: could not load plugin \'crystalspace.graphics3d.opengl\'
aws-debug: Couldn\'t find iGraphics2D plugin!!
psclient: No 3d driver (iGraphics3D) plugin!

How do i go about fixing such problems...where do i start?

yup I\'m fairly new.

I untared the thing and it put itself in one directory called planeshift and then i tried to run the programs from there.

where else should the programs be...i assume a bin folder of some kind...but i just figured that planeshift was different.

How can if fix this?d

I downloaded the linux tarball and untared it as is apropriate (and yes i\'m using linux).

Then i tried to run the pssetup, psclient-bin, etc. but all i get is a complaint from KDE that it can\'t find those files.  So i downloaded the tar file from another server...same problem...so i checked the file length and its correct and all.  The pssetup, psclient-bin, etc. are not empty files...which leads me to believe that the problem is kde not recognizing them as programs or something like that.

So now i\'m wondering is there a step i\'m missing? or something i did wrong?
