Ah, after putting it in Directsound (Works fine, albeit I get no ingame music, but I do get sound effects, fire, etc.) it works fine now without any crash after X\'ing out.

Yeah, I get a crash whenever I close an Ingame window. (didn\'t want to make new thread, as we are having the same problem)

I tested it 3 times. It crashed each time I closed a window, here are the DMPs.

Yeah, I read something (on main page) where it said MB players would begin transfering accounts 2 weeks earlier than people who didn\'t have it.

Was just checking if they got to play before or whatever.

Alright, I\'m sorry if this has been asked before but...

There will be character transfer\'s correct?  That is registered characters will be let in and be in first, but people who do not have registered characters will have to wait a week.

I want to play CB as soon as I can, but I stopped playing Planeshift because all it seemed to be was a pretty chat room and nothing to do until the release of CB.  

So this has been a while, and I don\'t know if my character has been deleted.  (over 9 months)  So should I download Planeshift and register again?

Hey just be glad they\'re working on the game and are dedicated to it.  It\'ll come out soon, don\'t worry about it, when CB comes out they\'ll be updating regularly... (I think)

Atleast they\'re not going down the path Dragon Empires did, after three years of waiting for beta, etc.  They cancelled the project, it looked good too.

Yeh, with torrents I can get about 450mbs in about 2 hours.  Lets just hope the speeds are good for torrent and direct.

Yeah, that\'d be cool.

Maybe one or two ingredients could be added.  Who knows what the best ingredients that could form together the ultimate monster, one VERY RARE item and a bit of grass could make it.  There could be lots of combinations that would infuse into it.

Maybe this could open up a new job?

I don\'t really like the whole, you can only build in this certain area!

You should be able to build most places but not in area\'s that are used for traveling, hunting, near cities, etc.

Maybe this could open up the new job like builder or realator.  The player would have to have high skill in crafting or something to be able to begin to build houses.  They would get hired by the player to build the house, the player would show them where to build.  This is where the realtor\'s judgement comes in.  If it\'s a bad spot where it would get in peoples way then they would get in trouble or something.

This could open up yet another job for higher/experienced players to be called surveyors to check houses for proper placement.  If it\'s good then the Realtor\'s rating would go up, visa versa.

Being able to build in most places would help, a lumberjack lives near the woods so he can work and quickly go back home to sleep off the work.  A fisherman lives near a river, A craftsman lives in the residental area of a town or in a designated outskirt houses of towns.

These just came off the top of my head I don\'t really know if they\'d work.

Good idea, I think this should be implemented.

Hah, that\'d be cool.  You set up camp for the night, out in the middle of nowhere and write in your jorunal.  Or your dusty old guild hall has a huge tome in the back that has all the major events that happened to them.

I could see Yo-yo\'s as a weapon.  Anything could be a weapon, Yo-yo\'s wouldn\'t be too bad.

Haha, I can see my char (a assassin or thief) sneaking through the shadows of his target\'s house.  The man is sitting in a large chair smoking a pipe and staring into the fire.  I have two choices:  Either I wind up and give him a nice hard well placed hit on the back of his head and knock him out or extend it, make a loop and hold onto the large heavy end and wrap it around his neck to strangulate him.

It\'s a very plausable weapon.

Just because you think it\'s a toy Boutus, doesn\'t mean in a completely different world it can\'t be used as a weapon.

Think of a large metal yoyo type deal imbeded with spikes and held for the string some strong metal cord like material.

Oh and boomerangs could be very useful as weapons, the first people who used it didn\'t mean for it to come back it was just a fluke how the thing was shaped... I watched wild boys one time and chris threw a big african one, here it comes flying at him, BOOM hits him right on the head an knocks him right off his feet.  He\'s sitting there bleeding from his wound... It was funny.
