md5sum opens for ? of a second and then closes so i dont see nothing why?

Well after doing the run_me_first file it says i need to open PSV0.2.010.exe so i did, well when i open it i get this ERROR titled NSIS ERROR and on it it says the following message...
Installer corrupted or incomplete.
This could be the result of a faild download or corrpuption from a virus
If desperate, try the /NCRC command line switch (NOT recommended)
Help please!

Hi, I have just begun downloading Planeshift. Iwas wondering where i can put the files, I put the files i have downloaded so far in a new folder on my desktop is this ok?
