Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / AMD Processor?!

I was just wondering if an AMD processor of any sort would cause my computer to crash while playing this game. I have had previous experiences with EverQuest that would cause me to crash because of my processor and im hoping this wont be the same.
