I tired that AND safemode, and it still doesn\'t work.

Restarting the app, or even the comp, reinstalling, none of it works!

You\'re luck you EVEN got somthing from him! I had to swipe a packet of Stickynotes of his desk....

Arg, I hope this \"Upload\" bug gets fixed, so I could play the demo.
(And I don\'t even know how to work Runescape well)  :P

About this long waiting while connecting to the world:

Some people say there computer is slow, so it takes up to 30 minutes or more for them to log on. This woudn\'t be a problem for me. I have a very powerful, fast computer.

An Athelon 2.2 Ghz. Herculese 64 Megabyge GeForce2 GTS Prophet.
Sound Blaster Live! Video Card, and a very, VERY good sound system.

Over 5 Gigs of free space on my Hard Drive.
256 Mb of Ram.

Just some specs to help you guys help me. :)

I\'ve been viewing other threads on this forums trying to figure out what may be my problem.

I\'ve tried the \"srv1.gamiix.com\" server address when uploading my character. This time, instead of me having the freedom of choosing the \"back\" button, it freezes, and I have to press Ctrl + Alt + Del twice to restart my computer.

Again, when it ry to connect to Plane Shift (this time witht he new address) it says it\'s connecting, and this time I give it close to 10 minutes. NOTHING happens. So I click \"back\" and exit the game.

I\'ve tried Reinstalling it again, and all that stuff I metioned above.

Still the same problems.

I\'ve tried shutting my Fire wall off, My virus Proection off, and numerous Character Combos (Chaning the Name, stats, Password)

Please help me for i want to play this masterpiece.

I woke up early this morning, and did my daily Web site check. Some news site, Planet Half-Life, read some comics, then it came to me:

\"I wonder how PlaneShift is doing?\"
I\'ve been waiting for this GAME for OVER 6 months. I told all my friends, too!  :)

Now, if there was a \"Bug\" Forum, or a \"trouble shooting\" Forum, I woud of posted in there. But this is as close as I can get to either of those.


I hate to be called a Newbie. I may be new to this forum, and should be respected as the next person. You give a little Respect, you gain a little respect.

Now, on to the topic:
I have a problem Uploading a character.
When I\'m finished creating a Character, I click the \"Next\" button. It tells me to eneter the Server address (203.109.172.22) so I do so.

I enter my Password, and retype it again, then I click the \"upload\" button.

NOTHING happens. No errors, NOTHING. I\'ve tried numerous times, and still NOTHING. I can click the \"back\" bubtton and everything, but when I click \"upload\" nothing happens.

Later, I thought I should try connecting to Plane-Shift, I try it, I enter the Server Address, my password, and my login.
It says it\'s connecting to the server. So I wait. Five minutes later, NOTHING happens OR it freezes.


I\'ve tried Re-Installing, Un-Installing THEN Re-Installing, trying diffrent character Combos, I\'ve even shut off my Fire wall.


Some one please give a \"Newbie\" some help.  :)
