I had that problem with it being unalbe to find modules.  I just had to open planeshift\\data\\config\\sound.cfg in notepad and change Sound.WaveOut.Refresh = 20 to Sound.WaveOut.Refresh = 10

I noticed in some of the screen shots that some character races models are finished.  When I made a dermorian in game he looked like a dwarf.  Is this just because the model for dermorian\'s is unfinished and that dwarves are used as the default.  Also skills don\'t show up on the skill page.  I assume that is just because that section isn\'t finished yet.
