Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / Text Probs

I read through the stickie but could not find this one. When I a in game some of the letters are messed up. The \'a\' on rat is  not readable but the R and the t are.  It only happens on objects display names. It is just annoying. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I felt the Game-Sickness too. I felt it with Duke Nukem 3D and another jet flier game, don\'t remember the name. I had to quit it was getting so bad. I don\'t experience it anymore thankfully.

I bet he meant .dir. Which means put them all in the same directory, or folder.
