I don\'t know if u guys have heard of a TV show called Yu-Gi-Oh? ( if u haven\'t > http://www.yugioh.com )
but i was thinking, what if we had like a main sport/game in the PlaneShift world, where people collect cards from all over the levels of the Stalectite, and use them in battles to win items, cards or money...
still maintain the PvP battle system but have this as a kind of sport in planeshift, and have huge tournaments, to win big prize-money or magical items?....

Duel Monsters is a card-battling game in which players pit different mystical creatures against one another in wild, magical duels! Packed with awesome monsters and mighty spell-cards, Yugi and his friends are totally obsessed with the game.

Maybe not in CB but in the future do u think the PlaneShift Development Team will consider letting people buy their own land? so they can build a House or a Shop or a Tavern for themselves?
I think this would make Planeshift very unique and attract a wider population of the RPG community...

im not sure if you guys would aprove of my ideas but for all those Yu-Gi-Oh fans out there i would love to see a Combat system like that.
Yu-Gi-Oh: 2 people go head to head in an arena that produces holographic monsters and so forth, they pit their wits and knowledge against eachother in an attempt to win the Duel, (they use cards to summon their creatures).
its a bit like Magic: The Gathering.
so if we could have like an arena where people goto fight other people to gain money, points or cards to add to their deck\'s.... but still keep items like armour and weapons and stuff to defend yourself in the wilderness.
If not as the main combative play, then maybe have it as a side game in planeshift. (make it like the main sport in planeshift)

the server seems to be a bit unstable at the moment, are u doing something with the server might be causing this? because i keep getting dropped every 2 - 3 minutes!

how about making 1 of the levels a guild house city? so u can get a guild together and save up enough crystals (or whatever the currency will be) with your guild and then have a guild bank or something and when u reach a certain amount u can send in a request to have a guild house built for your guild with the Crystals in your guild bank.
(wow, i think im sick of saying the word guild in my head) =P

Ok i have made a character and logged in. but i want to make a new \'custom\' character to add some depth to him. but im having trouble finding a name that isnt already taken, and that i feel comfortable with.
But this is extremley hard to do, because, my PSclient sometimes crash\'s unexpectdly and i lose all my character work. is this a bug or something computer related?
Also I\'m wondering if your guys might be thinking of doing a database purge of all unused accounts/char\'s?
this might free up some names, and unclog your database of unused accounts. by unused, i mean; people who havent logged into their account within 3 months of their last login.
And a quick suggestion here; maybe putting in the option to \'reset\' your character/account, and have the ability to make a complete new character without losing your current name and password?...
