Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game /

I have exactly the same problem here.
Keyboard is not responding at all in XFree when this freeze appears.
It does it at the start of the game most of the time.
I\'m using xfree 4.2.1 (debian/testing).
I don\'t think it\'s a lag problem, I launch several times the game on linux & windows, and with windows this problem never appears.
