I have the same promblem when I try to start Planeshift under Slackware 9.1. I Can\'t see the fonts, so I can\'t even login *sigh*
But I was smart enough to find out that the fonts shipped with PS aren\'t working. I tried to install them in KDE but they arent visible there either. Font preview in Konqueror shows nothing too. So any ideas how to deal with it, do I have to install another Font server?
Thats the only Idea I have atm... since I cant see other TTF fonts in X11 too... I\'ll try it with XFSTT... perhaps I can solve this riddle... we\'ll see...
BTW: My specs are:

Slackware 9.1 (using kernel 2.6.0-test11)
