Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Compile Problem

I downloaded the tarball for my redhat 8 i686 system, and the setup.sh ran fine, but when i try to run makedistro, i have problems. here is the output
cp: cannot stat \'cel/*.so\': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat \'CS/*.so\': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat \'planeshift/*so\': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat \'planeshift/psclient\': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat \'planeshift/pssetup\': No such file or directory
cp: cannot stat \'planeshift/updater\': No such file or directory
Now, i know these directories exist, and im doing all this as root, so i cant imagine what\'s going on. if anyone has any insight on this, help would be greatly appreciated.
