So no fighting in first person mode? :( When you zoom out of your characters view I think it eliminates the emmersion almost completely, just becomes another game - not to mention ruins pick pocketing but that discussion is for another forum.

To Parts: Yes CB will have at least some fp view from what I have read, just like MB.

Yeah it is really ignorant to say people should all have broadband. While your at it, I think everyone who wants to play games online should have at least $3000 computers too, and degrees in playing video games.

Anyway, I dont have to worry as our neighboors got fed up with not having broadband and installed a T1 line for our neighboorhood :) I get DL\'s around 200kb/s, up from 1.5.

derwoodly,

What did I say that was not nice to Paxx? I only stated that this forum is used to talk about PVP and Thieving ideas so he should not get mad reading about new ideas in this forum. If anyone wasn\'t being nice it was Paxx for trying to not let us post new ideas about PVP and Thieving - whether they can be implemented or not.

Power gaming is near impossible to eliminate. As long as it takes time to find imrpove your character, power gaming will exist. If you ask me, it\'s pointless. It doesn\'t  prove anything to anyone, except perhaps that you have way too much time on your hands. I suppose some people love power gaming, but I feel that it can easily ruin an online game. It seems like as soon as new content comes out, people automatically have it all figured out. Thats boring, I would rather RP with some friends and slowly uncover new content in a relaxed and fun fassion. But Power gamers will always be there, pushing the devs to make more content rather than making current content better.

It seems like servers can detect Linkdeath, because in EQ when someone went LD they would stand there with a LD tag next to their name. To leave EQ and not go LD, you can to sit and camp, which took about 30 seconds. So just do that, and people who restart their computer, well make it so that if you go LD you start back in town or something so it wastes your time to walk back.

What is the point of this thread? First of all, who cares what kind of spell a laser is. Second, are they even supposed to be in game? Third, I hope not. Fourth, if they are, the devs will make them whatever type of spell they feel it should be. No offense but this thread seems like somone was just trying to increase their post count or something, because that question is completely pointless.

Paxx this forum is to discuss PVP idea\'s, so if you don\'t like them just ignore them. Just like the wish list, not all idea\'s are going to be implemented in game. Anyway, to make a good RPG, you need a whole lot of choices. If you are a rogue or bandit and you can\'t mug anyone and take something of theirs, what fun is it being a rogue? I am not a huge supporter of PK, as I don\'t like griefers anyway. But there have been more than enough idea\'s to severely punish griefers and the sort. Bottom line, this is a forum about PK. Expect to see new idea\'s tossed into the air in hopes that maybe the devs will change their minds, don\'t get upset because of it.

Its hard to make an online RPG becuase everyone becomes so caught up about status and how good their equipment is. However, considering how many people are following this game already with a game based on clicking on crystals, hopefully there will be more of a RP community when the game comes closer to release.

There are many topics on characters selecting in game songs to play as bards or something. Just search for them - most are here in the wish list.

I am sure there will be many non combat oriented spells in PS. It is in fact an RPG and not a hack n slash where all you need is offensive spells.

Lol I don\'t think the devs would want a game to be that frustrating. I am not a big fan of decreasing skills myself, but I think it should be fairly hard to gain in skill in the first place.
