Unknownst to us on name creation there are also the Havoc Crusaders, Holy Crusaders, Crusaders, and Crusaders of Hell.

I think when we were formed we were to worried about getting the 12 members we started with organized.  12 members to around 60+ in less than 4 months, I\'m satisifed with the growth rate :)

Why?  How is a one game clan better than a multigame clan??  In NO way do I see it better. Now, some people use the excuse I like smaller clans.  Well, then hang around with your game and don\'t mingle with the rest of UC.  All that is required ofyou is to stay active on game and forum, recruit, and show some leadership/matuirty.

Also, the talking in third person is old.

And, as I said before, the starting members/leaders will give imput and expertise on what exactly they want to happen in this game.

No, our clan is setup currently around any type of game.  We adapt to the games needs.

Yea, our largest area is FPS right now, but that was because the way our old system was setup.  Now we have a person focused on only expansion.  We will soon have a council, to help us grow even more.

Yea, I do realise this is a MMP game, and I do believe that we are eqiupped to handle it.

All of our members are required to post on our forum, which is a huge form of communication.  We have Fleet Commanders, which lead groups of 20 poeple for organization.  We then have officers who serve as Recruiting, Training, and Battle Commanders.  Battle Commanders are in game leaders.

Fleets allow mass numbers of members to come in.

Our ex clan is a huge faction in SWG, another MMP game.  Yet another clan I know of is in serveral MMP\'s and growing there too.  It is all about experience, adaptions, and the leadership of the members, who are in this game.  Yes, this is a bold attempt, but that only makes the success of it even greater once we do succeed.

People sometimes use professions as a way of organization, othertimes they use assossiations, or whatever.  With an experienced player, UC will decide together what we plan on doing.  Perhaps our fleets will be broken down by areas or profession.  We also can reinstroduce the Units system, which is a group of 10 members.  Thats the thing, adaptabilty and all will provail.

Another thing, that is why we post threads like this, to get incite before we even enter it.  We don\'t enter a game without an experience member to lead it, unless it is new of course.

blah blah mutiny

No, it\'s ok, Rangers was like that and they\'re cool.

Anyway, what is the advantage to joining a clan with branches in other games?

Us having branches in other games means that the clan is already setup, working, and improving on a daily basis.  Clans that just startup in a game need to work to make it succeed, a website, a forum or whatever.  This has already been built.

On top of this, members can intergame.  Meaning Renegade members can come to help the Planetshift game if it is not up to par, for some reason.

This is what happened with out Generals division.  Recruiting is extremely hard in this game.  Many of our clan leaders stepped in to help, from other games, and this game is slowly growing.

Back to my original question, anyone intersted in leading ? :P

Okay, UC is a fairly new clan which started as a breakoff from another clan.  Yes, some people may consider that mutiny, however when the leaders of a clan are more concerned with how large the clan is than how the clan is overall, we decided that that wasn\'t the place for us.

In 4 months, UC has grown to be one of the most noted clans around in some of the games we are in.  At first, when we started, we would accept anyone.  Now, however, the requirements have greatly raised.  Most often, we will not accept anyone under 12 (However, this can be adapted), for maturity issues.  UC has really put forth an effort recently to raise our dignity, honor, and maturity level, which I believe has worked.

It would be difficult to explain our ranks right now, because of the fact that we *just* changed them, literally.  For weeks the BOD (UC\'s leaders) have been discussing what a good system would be and we finally came to a compromise.

On top of the chain of command is the Admiral, who handles the clan as a whole.  THe Vice Admiral follows who helps and assists the Admiral.  Next come the Generals, who can be ranked a 1 star general to a 4 star general.  Each of them have differant tasks and duties, each in areas that help the clan greatly.  These members also serve as Administrators, make sure rules are followed, are assisstants to new members and also current members.  Also in the BOD is our Game Commanders called the Colenels.  They are the leaders of each game.  These groups of people oversee the clan.

In our Game Ranks, we have Fleet leaders (which are groups of 20 people), for organization.  Fleet Officers are the assistants (much like the generals), for each Fleet.  There are Recruiting Officers, Training Officers, and Battle Commanders.  Then we have verteran ranks, active member rank, and then recruit ranks.

To join UC one must understand that it is a commitment.  We do not want you otherwise.  To stay in UC the biggest things act of you are to:  Stay active on our forum and game, to show maturity and dignity, and to show dedicatoin to UC (whether this be recruiting, advertising, etc).

For leaders, we require all this and more.  Leaders are expected to uphold clan rules and morals and also to make their game succeed, which you have the full support of the clan in doing so.

I\'m actually glad you guys are picky when it comes to guilds, hopefully if we do find a leader, we will end up with a great and mature bunch of dedicated members who may want to become officers/leaders of UC in the future and help us grow.

Again, thanks for the time and imput thus far,
zerk

Guilds Forum / Unholy Crusaders Clan Joining up
« on: February 21, 2004, 03:59:04 am »
The Unholy Crusaders, www.clanuc.org, may wish to enter this game as one of our core games.  UC is a large and multigaming clan that is involved in many things.  Some of the games we run include Generals: Zero Hour, Renegade, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Warcraft III, etc.

We are looking for a few things:

1)  A good and strong leader who will be willing to Join UC and lead this for for us
2)  Gamers who wish to join and become members of UC and this guild

Why join UC in this guild?  Simple.  Unlike other newly starting guilds who start from scratch, you will have the support of the entire UC clan, which is pretty large :)

Thanks for the time, please respond here if you are interested in either 1 or 2.
