I also have only 192 mb RAM, but PS runs nearly perfect... don\'t ask my why.
I don\'t think that it\'s a question of a high-end-computer in all cases. Try to customize some ps-config-files, or check wich programs are running in the background....
If nothing helps, the only thing you can do is to upgrade (like Mogura said) your pc.
