...and that sig is RIGHTEOUS!

Anyways Edoo, it works out something like this:

If we give away preferred customer status, we\'d supposedly get more jobs from preferred customers.  More jobs, but for less cash.

We\'d also be just as likely to lose jobs from non-preferred customers who no longer trusted us to be truly neutral.  Lost jobs that would have been paid in full.

So you get a few more jobs but you\'re paid less, and you lose the same amount of full-paid jobs.  Net result: loss.  And it would only go downhill.

We\'re sticking with total neutrality and flat rates.  It\'s not our job to be friends with anyone.  It\'s our job to do what we\'re paid for.

Yes, but if you had preferred customers, you wouldn\'t be truly neutral.  If there\'s one law Mercs live by (aside from \"money is good\"), it\'s \"NEUTRALITY ABOVE ALL\".

If you\'re not impartial, you\'re not staying true to your mercenary nature.  Gold is the only motivator.  Prove that you will follow the gold, and the jobs will come.  People have to see that they can buy you, and once it\'s done, a deal is a deal.  I don\'t think \"preferred customers\" would react well when they ended up on the other side of your army.  Hence, complete neutrality.

I think he was going for something along the lines of \"It would seem to me the guild has a strong foundation\"...probably typos due to alcohol, lack of sleep, distraction, or any combination thereof.

And as far as that goes, yeah, we\'re solid.  Members have come and gone but Zephy established the guild in...September of last year, was it?  Empanado\'s the oldest member and I\'m second-oldest. =3

That would be the work of Icefalcon.  Yeah, they\'re pretty cool.  All the same style but...not.  o.0

Want one?  Join up.  >.>

Wait a minute...you guys RP?
*wonders how he missed that for all this time*

Hmmm...Mercs can\'t really have outside allegiances.  On the other hand, your guild seems more like a loose gathering of individuals than some sort of military or something.  I\'m gonna have to talk to Icefalcon about this one.  I do have my responsibilities as Cerebrus Champion, after all (read: making random posts and whining until CB comes out).

Ouch.  Told by moogie.

Honestly, I was sorta doubting your art skills when I saw the first one.  But then I scrolled down to the snake and the skullpion and MY FAITH WAS RESTORED!  *beam of light shines down from nowhere*

Neat stuff.  And Klyaksa, nice render of the eye...type...thingy...  o.o;

Hey, every world needs its enemies.

A toast to the Cabal, may we unite in our hatred of them.

Best of luck to you.  It\'s nice to have a formal guild of \"good guys\" around, definitely sounds like you\'ll be doing a great service to the PS world just through your presence and spirit.

So as far as being Mirthful...

Where are the big parties at?  Maybe I can bring by some of my Merc buddies >.>

Besides, who\'s to say it\'s not genuine protection rather than so-called \"protection\" from us?  If we\'re actualy being caravan guards and whatnot, then I see nothing wrong with it...nor anything wrong with being appropriately rewarded ;D

Oh, and by the way...

Hmmm...sounds interesting.  But it would be unfair for people who don\'t have them since you\'d be against (or at least competeing for monster exp) somebody with effectivley twice the firepower.  And how would you order it around and such?  Or would it mirror your motions?

Also, if it dies, you die?  That could be hard to deal with.  What if you just take a lot of damage (something like in DnD when a familiar dies, only with much more damage taken).
