Some potions should be used inorder to harden stuff...

e.g.  A potion is spileld on a door,  the door is now les likely to be broken down.

Also there should be oil, or some type of potion one could spill around the place and then throw a match at.

Even if the potion is only there for 5 min it woule a BIG difference.

Think aobut is. people following you, murder in their eyes, you jump over a puddle and throw a match, the stopp nad wait for the flames to diedown, and you escape..

One thing that would be importaint in this game, would be: are there going to be Ranged weapons (Xbows, Bows, Darts...) And if one could shoot through the windows.

And what about keys and such for the houses and chests that one keeps items in?


If this game is going to be anywhere near what people here are saying, IT WILL BE GREAT! :D

Yes, you\'r right. Even if I have to learn c++ and carry the show,  I hope that there will never be an end to updates!

One thing worries me tho.... Bandwith...  I know that it could be my connection, but the game is allready kinda slughis...
(I = ADSL)


Graal... :\'(  I miss Graal, and the good times there.  One could make ones own skins, quest, and meet friends, also a few people acctualy RP there....  O well, id doesnt heko to think of the past, when its the future thats infront of us.

Wouldent there be a problem here. If the person that died was spawned in the same place each time, s/he would just use the firs time to learn the maze, then jsut run the maze each time the person died....

I know the game you speakof, Graal. Its one of the better RPG games.

But there is a few differences here....

Graal=2D\'ish graphics, and constnat top down view.

Also, creating ones own house here would be hard. Because it would demant that one could use some type of 3D modeling program.....

Its a good idea. but kinda hard to do.

Also there would be the question of space. Lets say that there are 80 players (I dont know how many play this game)
Everybody hwants an own house, so sudenly there is 80 new buildings that needs to be added on....

The same goes for workshops and such...


Or do I have the wrong idea here?

It would be hard to trace someone that sells a Sword +1, since there might be 100 people with that type sword.

I like the idea, but inorder to make it work the items stolen has to be one of  a kind or taged in some way.

But I really like the idea about rumours and that. It would be fun to walk into an tavern and find people talking about other playser and what has happened, instead of the usual: \'Hey, you whana buy / Hey wana fight\'

I know that potions usualy means Helaing potions and potions that boos one special aspect. but what about Poisions?

Eg. Posion one could blend with foods/drinks, poision to smear on weapons or traps....

anyone?

what would really be good would be if people could have their own workshops and a chest to store stuff in.  It\'s a bit boring when 20 Smiths/alchemists has to share one lab and one anvil.... atleast it would be more RP with one\'s own workshop.

I understand that this is YEARS away. But why not make a hole in the ground that people could climb through. There you could make one level with mabey 15 rooms, then when its needed you could copy the exsisting one and throw a ladder inbetween.... Also some kind of board outside each room stating what type it is (5 Smith workshops / 5 Alchemy labs / 5 artist workshops) and a place where people could writer their name on to say that they are currently working in there.....
A sort of Input-variable-Nick that is deleated after a day or X hours...

I understand that making the level would take time AND that it would be annoying to update it because so many turned smiths. still, its an idea.

There is one problem with this. Since there is a limited number of avatars one can choose, the description is of little use. Because there could be 20 thieves with the same looks...

E.g. Brewing a specific potion could take 10 min, because one must let it boil, then dry ...

ok a few ideas:

Work

One should be able to work in a form of workshop, so that one needed certain tools inorder to apply ones craft. Also there sohuld be the off chance that sometihng goes wrong (E.g. Alchemist blows up a test tube, Smith creates a waaaayyy to heavy sword....) Also some tihngs should take time to make. So that it\'s just not to make a master sword....

Boarding houses

There should be places where one could live, just like a 2 room apartment in a big house or something. Also one sohuld bea ble to put in furnitshure (chairs beds...) and mabey a workbench or book shelf.  One could buy or just rent. Also the same goes for some sort of Bank/storage area.

Monsters

There should be more to it thant jsut monsters standing around waiting to get slaughtered. MAbey the monsterse attaced the city, or that there is a sudden increas in monsters and there starts to be bounties on them...

Camps/XP

One should be able to set up a form of Camp when one is outside the city. Ofcoarse one must have matterials and such to make the camp. Also one should get better at making camps as one soes it. So one gets XP from using a skill.

I understand that the camp thing would be a BIG demand in the server if everyone built a camp... but mabey each char could only have one camp up at a time.  and that the camp deteriorated or such when left alone for a amount of time....

Minor things

One sohuld be able to sit in the grass, sit on chairs, lay on beds, sit and read, look like one is workin when one is working... *you get the idea*


What I whant, is a game that is more than the flat-kill-xp- buy/sell-make-an-item-kill   idea. A more dynamic and \'Realistic\' world.

I\'ve tried to post on the Bug part of the forum, but It says its a restricted area and that I avnt post there....

So: Minor Visual bug, In hte inn, some of the flames from the fire is seen through the floor.....
