I, for one, am female. :) So is Gronomist. And Agara... I think? Nanaki is also female.

*thinks of more*

I feel need to apologize for my unapropriate behaviour. My bad...

And I do really like the fact that more women play MMO. Becouse each time I talk with avatar which is female and acts like one, although I know that she\'s a he - it\' just weird ;)

I dont think so.  Boys play with racing cars, girls with barbies. There are exceptions, but its minority.

In other MMO I play there was single girl from my country, so it was like 3% of players overall, and it has nothing to do with attitude.  In fact we really tried to convince more girls to play, but its just futile.

We just have to live with fact that about 98% of us are male, sad but true...

Would it be possible that the higher lvl of a blacksmith could make weapons with better stats (not better quality)?
What I have in mind is that:

Lvl10 blacksmith can do a simple flaming katana ;] to do it he have to spend 15 minutes. And this sword would have normal stats, like generic flaming katana from NPCs

Now lvl 20 blacksmith can do a better flaming katana. This catana could have +1 fire damage, or +2% fire resist. It would take more time to make this item, and maybe some special items like crystals or something. He still can do normal flaming katana though...

But there should be some kind of skill tree with it.
The blacksmith would have to specialise to make +1 fire dmg katana, to make +2 fire dmg katana he would not only have lvl30 in blascksmithing, but also lvl2 specialization in making +fire dmg mods on flaming katanas.

That would make  blacksmith job more interesting. And You could be that ONLY blacksmith in the country that can make +10% fire resist katana :D

I can moderate avatars - only nice and nude chicks would be valid avatars.  With the proper support we can make this forum better :D

Thanks for the answers :-)

I\'m allright with \"controlled\" PvP. It will be a bit diffrent experience.

Still can anybody say when was molecular blue released?

And one more:

Will there be overall goal (or goals) to achive in planeshift? Like will it be to have best guild, or to became king of some kingdom, or is it totally up to us to decide? ;]

Well It\'s time to say hi to everyone :-)

Planeshift looks quite promising as a MMORPG, and I hope the whole project will be succesful.  Right now I\'m playing EVE Online, and I like it a lot. Maybe Planeshift will be my second best? ;-)

Anyways I\'ve got few questions.

First of all I\'m not gonna ask when CB will be out :-D Couse I think even the DEV\'s don\'t have ETA on it (even commercial games have problems with this). But I would like to know when was the last update released - the current one.

Secondly is my thinking is correct that there will be PvP only in arenas and specially designed places? So if I go to kill some spiders or something I can be totaly safe from PC\'s?

Another thing - the guilds, and proffesions. During character creation there are only non-combat ones. Why is that? I\'m bit affraid that Planeshift will be even too safe. I know that I can have some fun being a baker or miner, but its just bit of fun.
I think that the biggest driving force of almost every MMORPG is to train your skills, get best armors, swords, tachyons ;-) to be more powerful (hopefully than other players) and to be able fight some PC\'s.
I know that where is PvP there are griefers, but on the other hand when there is no risk, any game can become very boring. How much fun can you get in arena?

Don\'t get me wrong I\'m not mad PK\'er type. In EVE my character is dedicatet scientist. I have poor combat skills, although I\'m more than 5 months in the game. But that does not stop me from having lots of fun taking my ship and kill hordes of NPC\'s, and even noob PC pirates wannabees :-D
Of course when I ecounter real PK\'er I\'m in much much much trouble, but hey It makes game very interesting.
