Mac OSX Specific Issues / Trouble doing new 6.3 update

Hello.
I am running a Mac OSX 10.7.5.
When I get the update notice when opening pslaunch, I do not do "Update now.' Instead I
do a 'repair' in ps lauch. I downloaded and it went pretty fast. Now I know why and there in lies
my question. When I opened the new pslaunchmacosx folder, I moved the art where it was to go. I moved
the pslauch where it was to go. However, the 'Data' file (which I know has stuff in it from past updates)
in that pslaunchmacosx downloaded folder, just disappeared. The Data folder didn't open it just up and went poof.
I tried the repair in ps lauch again and only files still missing are window files. Which I just delete.
Also, when I do open ps launch, I still get the 'update available' notice. Why does the new data file poof?
Where did it go? What is wrong? Thank you for any reply.

In-Game Roleplay Events / A Celebration Under the Dome

Come one, come all to a 'Celebration Under the Dome!'
This festival is in two weeks. It is a two day, yes two day festival.

Dates: The 18th and 19th of May. (Time of festival and events will be coming soon.)
Where: East Hydlaa for day 1. Explorer's Camp for day 2.

On the first day there will be dancing, storytelling, music and artists selling their wares.
All artist are welcome to set up a kiosk in East Hydlaa. All musicians are welcome to pick
a time to perform on stage, or just play freely at spots around the fest area(feel free to
actually play music, or just RP playing). Storytellers can choose a time also. More on this
as we narrow down the festival time.

There will also be a few special events on day one:
A storytelling relay.
An impromptu storytelling event.
And a raffle.

There will be food and drink to be had as well. (If anyone can help with this, see
Gova, Kyy, or Anysu in game. Or, if you wish you can write a reply to this post).

Day 2 on the 19th is a fishing contest at the Explorer's Camp.

Catch fish for prizes. Tell fish tales. Cook your own fish, or have it cooked for you. (We
need cooks who can do fish dishes for this. Or, the cooking of fish can just be RP'd).

After the fishing contest there will be music, dancing, food, drink and a raffle at
Gugrontid. (Music/dancing at Gug because of lag at Explorer Camp).

If you wish to help or have questions, speak to Gova, Kyy or Anysu in game. Or, write a
reply here. We are still looking for dancers, storytellers and musicians who wish to perform.
Also, if there is a time which works best for you to participate on either day, please post
here. Thank you.

Mac OSX Specific Issues / Graphics Question

Hello. Had trouble with the update. So I did a full download. I set
things in pslaunch how I recalled them. Thing is I do not recall
all the settings or what I did last time when I did a full
install. Everything works except all the inside of tunnels
and buildings are dark. How to I alter this? I have a
macmini running OSX lion 10.7.5. with a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5,
and AMD Radeon HD 6630M 256 MB graphics.

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Updating question

Hello. I read that there was an update on the 19th of Oct. However,
when I open the psclient I get no auto message saying there is a new
update. Nothing new comes up even when I try pslaunch repair. Both
client and pslaunch are 5.9.2.
So if the news said there was a new update, why am I not seeing
anything about getting an update in psclient or pslaunch?
I am running a mac with OS X Lion. Version 10.7.5

Mac OSX Specific Issues / Problem with updating in pslaunch

Hello.
I have had problems with updating. When I open the pslaunch I get
the pslaunch screen and the message that says update available. If I
click yes it goes to the updater page and starts checking the mirrior
update: I get 194.116.72.94 as mirrior site.
Then the first line of the updating I think it is--pslaunchosx.zip
starts updating on the screen. It reaches 100% and then the
launcher quits. I have tried this quite a few times, with no change.
That 'update available' always appears when I open pslaunch and when
I try to update it starts loading then quits.
I have tried to click 'no' when starting the launcher and try 'repair' instead, but
no files come up in need of being added or repaired.

I am using mac os 10.4.11 and ps version 5.9.1. The game
plays find, I just do not know with this updater problem if I
am getting any updates which might be getting added to the
game. Thank you for any reply.

Mac OSX Specific Issues / Problem with Login screen

Greetings. I got another machine it's a macmini running 10.6.8 snow leopard.
Downloaded PS, put in apps folder on HD, updated, even did a repair. I can get the intro page and then the login page.
Put in my e-mail and pw, clicked login and then it freezes. I have, at times, after a long wait got the beginning of the load of the page where you choose which of your character you want, or choose if you want to create character. But only half of that screen comes up after a long wait, but freezes again.

Anyway, can anyone help me? What could the problem be? How do I fix it.
I never had problems before on my intel iMac. Below is my latest hardware and graphics info. Thanks for any reply.

Mac OSX Specific Issues / pslaunch wont open, can't update

Hello. I have been able to play the game(version5.7.1), but have had freezes
in game. However, I haven't been able to open my pslaunch(it crashes) to repair, or update
anything. I do have a link to an update page, but all it shows is a bunch of files
which do have Aug. dates. But nothing that automatically updates me, or tells me
how to update.

So I ask, why is the game opening and working(except for the freezes), but I can't
open my pslaunch?

And, how do I do an update if the pslaunch isn't working?

I'm running OS 10.4.11 on a G4 intel mac.
