Alts kill guilds.

the only accounts that i've had banned in the last year are spam bot accounts.  would you really want to see a list a mile long about account names that are just jumbled up letters/numbers?

I assume you know quite well which accounts are spam bots and which are not.
It seems it is a problem which only occurs to me: Seeing less and less posts from people I know and then finding out the reason is that they got banned.
Just lock the thread. I am outdated.

Yay, Warmongers are back!
I think there never was a better time to promote this guild. Warmongers seem to perfectly fit to the game now.

Reading this makes me sad. I enjoyed the few encounters between Orgonwukh and Lolitra and I think that both players enjoyed it even though the characters disliked each other very much (Lolitra pointing at Org's rude testoterone-driven behavior and Org calling Lolitra's crown a candelabrum which must have fallen onto her head...).

Careful, my first settings request concerning that topic was removed without warning (you might be walking on thin ice playing with Planeshift date and time). In that post, I also was told by the settings team that dates and time in Planeshift will not be implemented in the near future. So I stopped developing that idea (among others). That was months ago however.
Maybe you find something useful in my code, good luck with your project.

How big is the fluctuation? A guess?

I did not die yet when fighting a mob yet although I killed a lot of mobs with names including "vile", "lord", "maulber" and "ulber". However I changed tactics from using weapons only to using a combination of weapons and magic. Now that relaxing sleep is working (again), you can even kill some of those mobs using magic without wasting potions. I admit that my character's skills are quite high, but maybe changing tactics might work for lower level characters, too.

Additionally, it is possible to kill stronger mobs when using a good timing and aggressive stance (is also good training for duelling).

I remember that when I started playing, people grouped to go for an "Ulber hunt". It was more fun than grinding the same mob alone all over. Of course there are always a lot of drinks at tavern after a stressing hunt
