I downloaded the patched game 0.7.32 file and made a brand new game install. That worked like a charm, and I am back online.

I am sorry I could not try to unzip 0.7.31 from the zip file and then patch as you have suggested, as I no longer have the 0.7.31 zip file on my pc, and there is no file available to be downloaded neither on the PlaneShift website.

You are phenomenal, Talad. Thank you for your help and all the work you did to deliver us the new patch. Your magic never disappoints.  :sorcerer:

Happy Tuesday PlaneShift.

Happy Saturday PlaneShift citizens!

Today, the new patch 0.7.32 have arrived, yey! What an exciting news!
Unfortunately, it seems that Intel Mac users will have to wait a tiny bit longer as the patch fails to update on our machines.  It is surely something (well) worth waiting for.

After opening the PSLauncher, I clicked on the "update" button waiting for the magic to happen. Sadly, instead of a happy end, I got a fail message "Patching PSUnrealClient.app/Contents/MacOS/PSUnrealClient failed!
Last error: Patching FAILED in default case -17712
" instead.

After the failed patch, I have opened PSUnrealClient application, just to check it out. The PSUnrealClient currently screams at me with quite a few error angry messages.

Talad, may you look into it, please? I am sure you can use your God creation magic powers to find a fix for us.  :sorcerer:

Thank you!

p.s. Looking at the PlaneShift Launcher screenshot, I have just noticed the lack of capital letters in Planeshift. According to recent live streaming video, you have fixed this small error in the PSUnrealClient but probably not in the PSLauncher itself? Dunno, just thinking out loud.

Greetings good citizens of PlaneShift.

On my travels, exploring the world outside the safety of Hydlaa city walls, I stumbled upon large round floating, ball alike, objects. So far, I have found two of them, each located in a different area. The first one I saw yesterday was someplace between Denvel village and Ojaveda city. Today, I found another one, just outside Hydlaa East gate, next to the passage buried in stones.

Those large round floating objects left me puzzled as I have no idea what those "ball things" might be. It can not be targeted, there are no NPCs close by to provide some answers or hints, nor no any signs to be found nearby. I have noticed some turquoise-coloured symbols painted or carved on the objects too. Are they magical? What do they mean? Questions, questions ...

Anyway. Please, help me, the curious explorer, find out what those objects are. Surely I am not the only one who has seen it. I have attached two in-game screenshots, just so that it is clear what floating round objects exactly are in question.

Thank you!

Hurey!

I am so pleased to see that the Mac download link is fixed, and is functional again.
Thank you very much Talad and The PlaneShift project team, for doing such marvellous work.

Thank you for your response, Talad.
I will keep my hopes high for now, that you may work your magic to let us, the Mac users, enjoy this magnificent game, soon again.  :sorcerer:

I'm interested to know if your Mac is using M1 chips, or Intel.

To answer your question, my Mac uses an Intel chip. It is an older MacBook Pro 2018 computer.

Hello everyone.

It seems that the Mac OSX version download link is broken as I am getting the "The requested URL was not found on this server." error message.

I have been playing the game for a few days now. I wanted to play again tonight, but I am getting a notification that my version of the game is old (I have 0.7.30) and that I should download a newer version from the Planeshift website, which is sadly not working for me.

Can you look into it and fix the download link, please?
