how long does this game take to load?

Well I have 56k...so is this an unfriendly game for it?...Ive made my char and have tried many time to enter the world...but all it says is something like \"loadfing world\" and it never changes....Ive waited 10 mins and still nothing...what gives?

ye i got a 56 k an it take s 5 minits or so to download

firts time it may take more so jsut take some music an listen to it till it loads

First time I tried it said \'loading world\', I waited about 5 minutes, saw no change... so I walked away from the computer. I came back about 1/2 hour later and found an error message. Now whenever I connect, I\'m in within one minute.  So, despite the error, something must have worked.

Oh, and I have a 56k connection.

I tried...I waited 30 mins..and nothing..all it said was \"receiving world\" and it never did anyhting else...what else could be the problem?....is my account bad? or do i have to reload the game?

That happened to me too.  I reinstalled the game.  When i tried to connect after than i let it sit on recieving world for bout 20 minutes, and it finally finished loading.  Now when ever i try to connects it works withen a minute. By the way i have dsl

When I downloaded Planeshift, it kept on messing up my computer when I tried to get on.  It would always freeze up.  So I uninstalled it and downloaded the other file.  It works better now, but I can\'t get into the game.  It says it\'s loading the game, and I waited for thirty minutes, but nothing ever happened.

For some people, this problem is a remnant of a bug in the server from the first week it was out.  If you haven\'t tried creating a character since then and this is happening to you, you may be a victim.  Please try making a new character and see if it still happens, and post your results here.

It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to load the game.
And i have Broadband!!! And when the game starts, i
fall trough the floor. Sometimes i dont fall trough the floor. Instead the game crashes.

yeah i created a chracter 1-2 weeks ago before the new tech demo came out and it still wouldn\'t load
