Will there be raiding?

Just wondering if theyre will be Raiding in Planeshift. I used to play Everquest and i really liked the Raiding aspect.

 PS you guys are building a great game here, keep up the good work.

Maybe if you explained exactly what \"raiding\" is..I know what the word means, but not how Everquest implements it.

I think you could pull pranks on eachother in everquest if im not mistaken. Poisen ivy, nasty drink, etc.

raiding is getting like 3 or 4 groups together and going after a strong foe, using strategy or just sheer numbers to defeat it. like raiding dungeon bosses that 1 group could not kill.

Of course you can group up. Its up to you what you do when in a group thogh.

hmm. i think im not making myself clear. hopefully someone who has played lots of mmorpgs will post. for they will know what im talking about.

I think nakai means the mass battles against huge enemies that take entire server-fulls of people and hours of time to kill. They\'re fun for hack\'n\'slash games, but I don\'t know how that sort of raiding would work in PS. Could be a good idea...

Well maybe a huge enemy would randomly attack the city and require a gigantic group of people or else it would \"destroy\" the city which later would be \"rebuilt\"
That would be cool :)

Doesnt this belong in the wish list?

ive been playing everquest for about a week. And ive heard abotu raids ( mostly about fighting dragons ect..) i dunno i ehard it took a crap load to kill this one dragon that as soon as it died didnt drop anything and it went away fro ever lol.

Yeah, just like some movies :)
Every month a huge dragon is going to the city to destroy everything. The dragon won\'t do it when the people secrafice a human female every month.

Than a bunch of soldiers could try to defeat the beast together to stop it :)

I say we sacrifice the women lol , jk to arms brothers :P
Anyway first time i saw the word raiding i though he mean the kind of raiding that there is in WoW,DaoC and other MMOs where the aliance army attacks the undead citys and vice versa. I like that :P
