It is a little large, but it is up to the mods to say if it is too large, not me.  Besides that I like it :D  Oww and glad to see you were able to get rid of the whitespace :)

I personally think it\'s a bit high, the width is perfect, but maybe 3/4 of the current hight.

It looks nice overall, but i personally don\'t like the sharpe edge between the effect and the image of the guy\'s head. Perhaps you could bur or fade one into the other.
